How are the clients for taking jobs chosen?

I`d like to know how are remote clients chosen for processing my job?
Randomly, by some ID or is there some speed criteria?

The clients are choosen randomly. In fact, corefarm.org does not send work to client, it is clients that connect to the server and fetch it. So the first clients that connect are also the first served.

Note that there is a banning system: when something goes wrong, the client is banned for 10 minutes.
